Finally, Croton Point. It's a peninsula extending into the Hudson, around the widest part of the river (about 3 miles wide). So wide that Henry Hudson mistook it as a shortcut to the ocean. The lighting was better when I was on the top of the dam, on that bridge. Of course it's impossible to get the best lighting in all parts of the trip, but it's still a nice view. I made it to the New Croton Dam again. This is the view from the dam top. There's a gravel road on the south of the reservoir going east from the dam.
