TIL that the unknown soldier buried in Westminster Abbey, London, might not be a soldier at all, but a sailor or Marine, and could also come from one of the colonies supporting the British in World War One - meaning not White, of course.

Not many places on this planet are as peaceful as the "Pool of Peace" aka. #LoneTreeCrater aka. the #Spanbroekmolenkrater near Ypres, despite its origin in The Great War. Being there twice, it's astonishing to feel how much a man can calm down when sitting here. Nature has done a magnificent job of healing the scar of war.

Having a depth of twelve meters and spreading 129 meters, it's the biggest crater reminding of the atrocities of the First World War.
