@netzbegruenung Auf #Mastdodon sind auch Beiträge und Kommentare die via #ActivityPub von einem anderen Netzwerk kommen, so wie dieser von #Friendica zu Euch. Ich könnte auch eine andere Mastodon-Instanz verwenden und antworten. Es wird also wirklich schwierig und die von @crossgolf_rebel im Kommentar gezeigten Links haben auch Abweichungen untereinander. Es gibt User die kommen von #Lemmy, auch ein Teil des Föderierten Netzwerks.

Mastodon ist für diejenigen die den #eXit und #unis4mastodon mitgemacht haben eine gute erste Anlaufstelle um sich umzusehen, sich zu orientieren. Ob sie auf Mastodon bleiben ist eine andere Frage. Ich bin nach langer Zeit auf Mastodon nun bei Friendica und habe meine Kontakte importiert. Also stellt sich die Frage wieviele Postings sind reine Mastodon-Erstellungen? Wieviele kommen über die kompatiblen Schnittstellen? Ich denke da wird es knifflig.

@digitalcourage @bundestag @nassy Wenn der Account bei Mastodon brach liegt, bleibt es eine "Nische". Obwohl es schon Kritiker gibt die sagen das Mastodon zu groß geworden ist. #Ministerien, #Bundesregierung, #Landesregierungen, #Städte, #Kommunen, sie alle könnten durch aktive #Accounts, die auch einen moderierten #Diskurs zulassen, auch auf Mastodon oder Friendica oder einer anderen Plattform im Fediverse #Reichweite erlangen. Die Aktion #unis4mastodon war ein riesen Erfolg und die User von Twitter sind mehrheitlich gleich mitgekommen. So funktioniert Kommunikation. Das Fediverse ist #Datenschutzfreundlich und etliche Server in Europa. Ansonsten selbst einen aufsetzen und nach DSGVO abklopfen.

@Dirk @feb Zumal es Spamfilterlisten gibt die eingepflegt werden können. mastodon.social ist nicht dafür bekannt eine Spamschleuder zu sein, die Moderatoren leisten gute Arbeit. Diese Instanz gehört mit zu den größten im Mastodon-Nebel aus Eingangs genannten Gründen. Dazu kamen zwei #eXit-Wellen und #unis4mastodon . Die Moderatoren sind selbst nicht so begeistert darüber, doch die Instanz gleich zu sperren ist #Zensur. Und was ich in den Timelines sehen will entscheide ich und keine #Moderatoren. Oder kam die Anweisung vom Betreiber der Fediverse-Instanz?

#unis4mastodon war ein großer Erfolg und könnte mit #Studis4fediverse gekrönt werden. Der Vorschlag #Mediatheken über #ActivityPub dem Fediverse zugänglich zu machen, ist toll. Gleichzeitig auch das #Universitäten eigene Server betreiben und eine Art #SingleSignOn einführen, könnte den Studierenden den Zugang zum Fediverse vereinfachen und sogar Vorreiter für ein vereinfachtes Nutzen von #Peertube, #Pixelfed, #Friendica oder die anderen interessanten Angebote im Fediverse werden. Wer weiß was bei entsprechenden Informationsaustausch und Weiterentwicklung der jeweiligen Software alles möglich wäre?
