So apparently in the middle of the TSA airport mess, rising gas prices, and disruption to global shipping from his personal war, #Trump and the #GOP felt they needed to disrupt transportation a little more by having the GOP’s National Fund Raising Dinner at DC’s #unionstation resulting in limited access to rail service, no ride share service, and no passenger drop off/pick up. The #Metro was skipping the station leaving travelers trying to catch Amtrak trains confused and with no travel alternatives.

It’s just another example of how tone deaf Trump and the GOP are to the needs of real people. They could have had the dinner at a site set up for such events but instead decided to shutdown a primary transit hub in the middle of the work week. It’s a giant middle finger to any regular person that works on the hill and takes public transit and a go away to any tourist traveling to DC today for height of Cherry Blossom season.

But the GOP don’t care. They see any public asset as their person plaything. The rest of us peasants don’t matter.
