The latest version of the UniFi Network app finally allows you to enter the hostname (instead of IP) for a WireGuard server when configuring the UniFi Travel Router. Previously you had to import a config file to make that happen. This is an important addition for anyone who relies on dynamic DNS to phone home. #Ubiquiti #UniFi #UniFiTravelRouter

The latest UniFi Travel Router firmware update, version 6.5.246, has a couple improvements I’m excited for:

1. The UTR can now uplink to Wi-Fi networks that use 802.1x, or “enterprise” authentication.

2. It can broadcast a secondary network—useful for people who have an IOT SSID at home and want to travel with things that connect to that network. (But the mobile app doesn’t support configuring this just yet.)
