One week ago today, I passed my Single Engine Turbine (SET) exam after two demanding days of training. To celebrate, my instructor and I packed our planes for a quick 20-minute flight from our home base in Vicenza to Venice Lido, crossing some beautiful scenery. From there, we took a water taxi into the city for sightseeing and tasty gelato.

Departing LIDH after three intense training days on the Pilatus Porter B2-H4. Long days with multiple challenging sessions. Some frustration on my side, struggling to master this lady’s landing technique – but cracked it just in time for the exam thanks to solid instruction. 🩵
Callsign “kleinsophie” now “Porter Model” per examiner request. Exam passed. 🛫🦄

Today at #Unicornlines: Today was the last scheduled dropping day for me this season. A season which was anything but easy for me. But we ended this season on a high:
I had the privilege of flying one of our students on his exam today. And while he passed, the examiner, who has 5000+ jumps, praised my flying style to the skies - in front of the whole team. I mean - I am just kleinsophie. 🥺
