🦠🔬 Cologne Research Team identifies a Bacterial Trick for Survival within the Host Cell
A research team at the #UniCologne and #UniLeiden has discovered a strategy used by certain bacteria to long-term inhabit host cells. The researchers found that specific bacterial enzymes allow them to remove the Ubiquitin mark, which labels for destruction, permanently.
