I've been reading Tolkien again these days. I've been walking around with the Unfinished Tales on me.
I'm reading the description of the Island of Númenor, and after I'll go on into Aldarion and Erendis.
Finished #LostTales vol. 1 right before the new year.
My 2022 #Tolkien #ReRead included #TheSilmarillion, #LordoftheRings, #TheHobbit, #UnfinishedTales, & #LostTales 1.
Pausing now to read #Jemisin's #TheCityWeBecame.
An offset to the end-of-term, #grading blues was finishing my #HobbitReRead over the weekend. Delightful as always.
The true unsung hero, of course, was the thrush.
Now I'm finishing my #UnfinishedTales #ReRead. I'd totally forgotten that the Blue Wizards, who were lost in Rhûn, had names in Valinor.
If only we had their stories.
