Alatar – Magick for Muthas
(Eine erste Annäherung)

Die verhallte Stimme des Sängers Gordon Overkill fand ich zunächst gewöhnungsbedürftig. Aber beim zweiten Song des Albums catchte mich die Band.
Zusammen mit Tobias Stork (G) und Kristian Tamm (D) dampfte Gordon einen geilen traditionellen Heavy Metal in die Rillen des Vinyls (oder auf die glatte Fläche der Disk). Mit Energie und heißem Herzen ziehen die Jungs einen zurück in die 80er. Wie schön ist das denn.
Schwere Empfehlung, ihr Metalheads.

Rake Off

Manchmal spühlt der music feed von Bandcamp einen satten Sound für Metalheads vor die Füße.
Rake Off spielen frischen melodischen Thrash|Crossover. Die Texte zeugen von einer ordentlichen Angepisstheit mit der die fünf Römer seit 2016 durch die Weltgeschichte fräsen.
Live müssen die Jungs absolut zerstörerisch sein. Da pogt sogar der Papst mit.
