Overheard at work: "I bought my niece The Art of War for Christmas even though I know she'll never read it."

I have some thoughts:

1. I expect there was a followup conversation where the niece asked to disinvite her uncle from her high school graduation.

2. Jesus was famously a huge fan of Daoist philosophy and war

3. Just send a card for Christ's sake...
