This week we will look into #DNS, the system that translates domain names into IP addresses. In an experiment we will make your DNS requests visible. @tykling from #UncensoredDNS will tell us about security and privacy issues with the DNS protocol, and introduce us to solutions like #DoT, #DoH, and tools to avoid DNS blocking.

what's going on with your "free non logging and uncensored public DNS" (95.215.19.53)?
I'm getting no answers since this morning on my #dnsping from various locations/providers (Vodafone in Germany and Hetzner in Germany as well in Finnland) 🤷‍♂️

Today while setting up #pi-hole on my #selfhosted server I was searching for a good free #DNS server to use. I came across #UncensoredDNS (https://blog.uncensoreddns.org/) which is run privately, but professionally, by a smart Danish guy working in the ISP business.

Being Norwegian myself I would trust a fellow scandinavian any day over Big Corp International.
