2) Telegram-Alarm bei Erfolg. 📱
3) Ubuntu plätten & #NixOS draufbügeln. ❄️

Warten auf Beute... 🏴‍☠️

Currently playing with #Unraid...

Unraid is set up in a #Proxmox VM for me to test...

Unraid (currently) boots from a passthrough USB key...

I just patched and rebooted Proxmox...

Any guesses for what I just spent the last few mins troubleshooting...

🤦🏻

What else should I do with my #unraid system? Right now I'm just serving up media to a via Jellyfin on my local network.

Unraid 7.3.0 Beta 1 has been released. Here's a nice quick overview of what is new.

Join us for Episode 2 of BitFlip! We're still ironing out some bugs and figuring things out, but we're having fun. This episode we talk about how deep the rabbit hole can go on in-ear monitors, talk about whether the Nvidia Shield has finally lost the crown as best streaming box, and the unfortunate implosion of Booklore and its hopeful rebirth as Grimmory.

We also get to know Adam a bit more and learn about his journey to work on Unraid.

Also, if you didn't notice, new shiny logo!

#2 — From Video Games to Unraid | BitFlip.show

We dive deep into Adam's background and his journey to join the Unraid team, talk about headphones and the rabbit hole that is in-ear monitors, discuss the sad decline of the Nvidia Shield, and close out by talking about the drama surrounding Booklore.

Ugh. I‘ve been debugging my #Paperless install for ages. Most files would remain in queue forever, without any errors in the logs. Manually adding the files again took multiple approaches for the files to finally be processed. Turns out, Paperless doesn‘t like to share a #Redis service. So starting a second Redis docker container on my #Unraid server solely for Paperless finally solved the issue. The joys of #selfhosting 😖
This works well in #Unifi Network app but setting up local admin account is also your login for Unifi Drive when mounting via SMB and I don’t like that dual functionality so it’s not ideal but still to explore this fully as with a few things #UnasPro8 but it’s not a million miles away from #Synology except for the no Apps but I’m not planning to use this as anything other than secondary back up and network file serving. My main #NAS will be a UGreen DXP 6800 Pro running #UNRAID /2

@Carsten_O Oooh but I am.😎

I have an #Unraid server running all my other stuff. And wanted Home Assistant to run separately from my ‘playground’.

At 6.5 Watts it’s a steal, and it was free. 😉

Oh… and I’m not saying I’ve got two more of the exact same NUC’s that do not have a designation,… yet.

What do all of you think about #unraid (aka. nonraid)?

Would you recommend using it? Has it some not that obvious caveats and pitfalls one should be aware off?

Edit: Here the Reddit thread link btw, almost forgot: https://www.reddit.com/r/DataHoarder/comments/1ru42d2/how_to_best_use_unevenly_sized_hdds/
