@reverseics Classical @NanoRaptor #Shitposting aside: This is technically possible even outside #S100, #ISA & #PCI buses.

If I had more money than sense I would've build something similar to #sgi's #NumaLink-based systems with the #UltraStation.

Embrace the #CHONK|ER!

So yeah, maybe Alex from #LinusTechTips may be able to build something as absurd, expensive and ballsy as the #UltraStation:
https://github.com/KBtechnologies/UltraStation

Because what are all those #PCIexpress lanes on #AMD #Threadripper and #EPYC processors good for if you can't saturate them all?

Give us some ballsy Dual-Socket action with #PCIe #switching and a feckton of #NVMe #SSD|s as well as #GPUs!

@HopelessDemigod if I could afford it, I'd have built an #UltraStation ages ago [Basically a huge Deskside / Rackmount System the size of an #SGI #Onyx with a #PCIe-based Backplane or rather "Sideplane" that connects the main system with a feckton of Storage, NICs and GPUs...

But that would cost more than a fully decked-out Onyx back in the day...
