Today was threshold day again. Two 15-minute blocks with a 5-minute recovery in between. I also managed to run a 10k personal best. I'd never seriously attempted a fastest 10k time before, but there's clearly room for improvement.

Not completely fit, strained and an unbalanced HRV. I leave it to Garmin Coach about what kind of workouts to do in the coming days. For today he thought a base run of 1h15 was sufficient 😊🏃 ♂️👌
Back into the Threshold Tredmill after a week playing in the French mountains.
Buddy Bas succesfully finished his UTMB 100K Nice Ultra within the cutoff time.
Very happy he could finish his project succesfully.
It was fun to support him. High up in the mountains racing from one aid station to the other in the middle of the night 😃.

And I've changed my program again.
I'm now using a two-week training cycle where I run every other day. A long run on the weekend, and during the week, I do whatever the Garmin Daily Suggested Workout recommends for that day.
The long runs include elevation gain, based on my October goal (Bear Trail, 58km, 1500m).

It was inevitable. If you both use Garmin Coach for your training and you're training for the same goal event (Trail Marathon this Saturday), and you happen to be near each other, you'll both do the Tempo workout prescribed for the same day together 😆.
