I've been watching a long retrospective on Ultima Underworld: Stygian Abyss on Youtube.
I quite liked the game, I bought it new when it was published and played it quite much. I never finished it, though - it was a long game and got quite hard in the end.
The video made me think about how the game has quite a lot of freedom, but also responsibility. The maker of the video talks about how you can make the game unwinnable easily.
