1. Per article linked above, MTA express bus ridership is up 21%.
2. Our private Trailways bus from #UlsterCountyNY to #nyc was completely sold out *and* on-time Tuesday morning.
3. Boxcar, the free market solution to #NJTransit, is now working with a second charter operator. Guess they can't get enough buses.
4. #NYWaterway, another private operator, has supplemented its school bus fleet with large Volvo coaches.

Getting things I need for my next conference via free rural transit!
This past week in #UlsterCountyNY, two high school honors students and one college student were lost to #trafficviolence in separate crashes. Another high school student was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
Ulster County, NY (home to New Paltz and Kingston) made buses free. Ridership increased 39%.
