The passing of the Uganda Anti-Homosexuality Act in parliament, with a staggering majority of 348 to 1, shakes my faith in humanity. It's disheartening to witness such widespread support for a discriminatory law. No one should face such extreme punishment simply for being who they are and loving who they love.
