It looks like there is no way to launch Ubisoft Games (purchased on Ubisoft Store) under Linux? #Heroic doesn't support #UbisoftConnect , #Lutris doesn't sync the library properly since 2025, Ubisoft Connect launched over Lutris can't launch games because Connect and the game need different settings, I can't launch in #Steam because the code is bought on Ubisoft Store etc. It's quite frustrating...

What exactly is their launcher trying to do in the "Preparing to launch your game" step? And is it possible to increase the verbosity of the launchers logs somehow?

Still unable to play #Anno117

1) Doesn't run on #NixOS, the #Ubisoft Connect launcher gets stuck.
2) Doesn't run on #Windows 11 for ARM, the launcher flashes up but then nothing happens afterwards. I think the game crashes but I don't know if and where it writes logfiles to...
