Thirty-four civilians were killed and 300 injured when the Ulster Volunteer Force detonated four car bombs in Dublin and Monaghan on 17th May 1974, 50 years ago today. There are credible suggestions that the bombers were working as agents for the British Intelligence Corps and RUC Special Branch and that they had help from members of the British security forces. 1/
