Someone highlighted a post which was an advertisement to read a substack post, but with a paragraph quote indicating #Canada should "just … stop using their services", 'they' in this case being #USA #tech corporations.

Substack is a #USian #techcorp which monetizes blogs.

I have no clue if anyone involved appreciated the #irony.

Do you call a piece of music a song even when there isn't a singer?

I've encountered a few instances of "song" used for a piece of music played for a 19th-century dance.

I loved Downton Abbey for years, but when I was looking for something fresh after it ended, it seemed every f'in program was either about #Aristocrats or #Copaganda

That wasn't my first clue, but it definitely turned me off most #USian programs.
