Today may or may not be the anniversary of the Philadelphia Experiment!

On or about 10/28/1942, the US Navy may or may not have conducted an invisibility experiment that may or may not have briefly teleported the destroyer USS Eldridge from the Philadelphia Navy Yard to Norfolk, VA and back again, and may or may not have had negative effects on the sanity of sailors who were aboard.

Today is the (possible) anniversary of the "Philadelphia Experiment" in 1942, in which what may or may not have been a prototype invisibility device may or may not have accidentally teleported the destroyer USS Eldridge from the Philadelphia Navy Yard to Norfolk, VA and back again, with possibly negative effects on the sanity of sailors who were aboard.
