The next step for normalizing "#AI" being forced into f***ing everything:

The United States must lead the world in AI by removing barriers to innovation, accelerating deployment of AI applications across sectors, and ensuring broad access to the testing environments needed to build world-class AI systems«
Abandon any claim to cross-cutting regulation of "AI".
Instead, suggest to lawmakers that it was all about regulating sectors (or mere aspects of them).
So that we end up arguing about the same things over and over again, until, out of frustration and exhaustion, we just let everything slide.
That's the message behind the conspicuous absence of any cross-cutting approach in "A National Policy Framework for Artificial Intelligence", published as "legislative recommendations" by the White House:
