Register for 2023 U.S. Conference on Teaching Statistics (USCOTS)
We are delighted to announce that registration is now open for the 2023 U.S. Conference on Teaching Statistics (USCOTS). We are especially excited by the prospect of gathering in person at USCOTS for the first time since 2019. Please come to State College, Pennsylvania on June 1-3 to share ideas about the conference theme of “Communicating with/about Data.”
To register, go to www.causeweb.org/cause/uscots/uscots23 and click the “Registration, Housing, Travel” link on the right side. The early-bird registration fee is $225 before April 17.
This includes all pre-conference workshops, keynotes, sessions, buffet lunches Fri and Sat, Fri banquet dinner, and more.
High school teachers, two-year college instructors, and students with an interest in teaching as a career, are welcome to apply for a registration waiver here: www.causeweb.org/cause/uscots/uscots23/grants

USCOTS 2023: Call for “Posters and Beyond” Proposals - first deadline of January 29th
We invite submissions to the Posters and Beyond sessions at the U.S. Conference on Teaching Statistics (USCOTS), which will be held in State College, PA from June 1-3, 2023. The USCOTS theme for 2023 is "Communicating with/about Data."

CAUSE has held the United States Conference on Teaching Statistics (USCOTS) every other year since 2005. The 2023 USCOTS will be held on Thursday, June 1st - Saturday, June 3rd at the Penn Stater Conference Center in State College, Pennsylvania, with pre-conference workshops on Tuesday, May 30th – Thursday, June 1st. The conference theme is Communicating with/about Data.USCOTS enables teachers of statistics to exchange ideas and discover how to improve their teaching.
Hello Mathstodon! I am Amy Hogan, NYC high school teacher. Currently teaching AP Statistics, Math Analysis (sophomore math team), and Algebra 2. I am involved with stats education at the K-12 level with the ASA and NCTM, and serving on the committee for USCOTS 2023.
