Saw details going around, and I wasn't sure if it was a joke.

It appears to be real though–for Americans looking to leave their situation there is a treaty with the Netherlands to help them move there and foster entrepreneurship.

The most surprising part of it is that it is called DAFT (Dutch American Friendship Treaty). 🤣

I wonder if they refer to applicants as "Guests in Training" which would further extend the joke.

Aber ich würde ins Katastrophengebiet fahren, mich dort mit den Verantwortlichen, der Feuerwehr, den Betroffenen unterhalten . Ihnen zuhören, Mut machen.
