I'm preparing a methodology session on working with #VisualSources in #History for first-year students in the #PhD in History at #UPFBarcelona.

I'm putting together a recommended reading list of articles that rely heavily on images as #PrimarySources. Two brilliant students, Paula Hernández and Rosa Milian, have won #UPFBarcelona's prize for the best BA dissertation on #gender. Their joint dissertation for the BA in #Humanities was a proposal to include #GenderHistory across the #History course aimed at fifteen-year-olds undertaking compulsory secondary education in #Catalonia. They focused on the #imperialism module. It was a pleasure to co-supervise their work.
