From March to April, our #UNMaps Community Ambassador, Pawan Muddu, led humanitarian mapping sessions at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad - JNTU Hyderabad in India.

📅 The initiative ran for two days: a training day on 17 April and a full field deployment (mapping and drainage cleanup) on 18 April.

🌐 The team collected 110 geolocated drainage records and supported drain blockage cleaning.

UN Mappers Kenya — Nairobi Drainage Map and Clean 🇰🇪

In April 2026, #UNMappers Kenya partnered with the the Young Lawyers Voice on Climate Change Foundation YLVOCCF to collect structured, geolocated drainage data on the ground in one of the areas most affected by flooding in Nairobi.
