Since the start of March, Israeli forces have conducted widespread air strikes in #Lebanon. This is triggering mass displacement and deepening fear among already vulnerable communities. Entire communities in the south, the Bekaa Valley and parts of Beirut have been emptied as people search for safety.
UNRWA activated its emergency response, but humanitarian access must be sustained so help can reach those who need it most.
Civilians must be protected.

International humanitarian law is clear: as the occupying power, the Israeli authorities must allow rapid and unimpeded humanitarian relief for people in the Gaza Strip.
