#Ukraine #United24 posted news headlined “Poland ramps up migration controls, targeting Ukrainians”, but it’s not quite accurate.

It was a joint operation targeting people wanted by foreign arrest warrants, including from Ukraine, Europe etc, and those who were in Poland illegally, e.g. with valid but expired visas or in violation of Schengen visas. Since there’s over 700k Ukrainians living in Poland, naturally they also made the most of the foreigners wanted by foreign arrest warrants.

Interestingly, the same news on Ukrainian journalist’s Lachenkov channel (1.5m followers) had vast majority of approving reactions, most likely because few people in Ukraine and Poland approve of scammers, fraudsters and cybecriminals, regardless of their nationality.
