I am in Bangkok, Thailand! I am attending this #DeltasUNite Summit #DeltaSummit25 for the preparation of the United Nations Convention on the Conservation of River Deltas (#UNCCRD), on behalf of the Transboundary Water InCooperation Network (TWIN). I gave a talk on:

One session at #COP28 unveiled the UN Convention on Conserving River Deltas #UNCCRD. #Climate threats come from #pollution, #flooding & land #erosion, leading to #foodinsecurity, #forcedmigration & loss of livelihood. This, in turn, impacts #sanitation, municipal & industrial #water withdrawal, fresh water ecosystems, agricultural #irrigation & #energy production. The UNCCRD seeks #mitigation, #adaptation & #NDC funds. Partnerships & transboundary cooperation will help achieve #SDG goals.
