I'm ashamed of my country. Ashamed of our government ignoring their power in favour of just accepting the legal reading of the law as it stands.

This ruling does not make women safer. I'd say not only does it make women less date, it also makes trans people less safe.

Labour have abdicated their responsibility to lead on the issue, and are allowing bigots to control the narrative.
