Please stop pretending that fair, balanced, unbiased reporting means accepting far-right extremists like the #usgov and Germany's #AfD as political positions.

These are not political positions - they are cold-blooded hate and violations of #humandignity and #humanrights . Legitimising them by prending their arguments have any political value when they are at best laughable and at worst #barbaric is something to be ashamed of, not proud of.

Why then are so many journalism jobs mostly office based?

I'm looking for full time journalism work, but cannot relocate. I can't be the only person in this situation too. It reduces the pool of potential employees for media organisations.

Journalist Peter Wilby, former editor of New Statesman, has been jailed for possessing child sex abuse images.

As if that wasn't bad enough, he used his editorial positions to quash reporting on sexual abuse and argue that victims were liars.

Imagine my disappointment when it turned out that the Daily Mail wasn't advocating the compulsory enrolment of Western oligarchs into a series of Hunger Games events.

(And having read the piece, to save your having to do it, my only conclusion is that if this incontinent logorrhea isn't the result of chemically-induced excitement his family needs to be consulting with medical experts.)
