Last night I figured it is high time to learn more depth about #diabetes, as I've been having a lot of trouble with high numbers lately no matter what I do.

I go to a #Canadian #website figuring that will have the most-relevant forms of information for my needs/circumstances. The site is a lot less in-depth than what I expected, and every topic requires further #clicks to dig any deeper.

I steel myself to learn more about #WorstCase issues and click on the link about #amputations.

The resulting info was darkly funny but not, in fact, very useful.

Wow. Just completed a post-service survey that included the ability to update contact information. Multiple 'send' clicks were responded with an intercept demanding all fields be completed first.

Finally figured out what was missing: a landline number. You know, that thing many of us no longer bother paying premium fees for on the off-chance we're home when someone tries to call. 😳🙄😂

Day 11 of #MMC.
Today i worked on the hint display.
This one is also (locally) moveable. Though only the vertical offset changes. General position and rotation is still fully managed by the Game to prevent it from getting lost.
The hint displays also have animations.

Blur is the new bold: Here's how users really feel about Android 17's frosted updates

Per leaked images, Android 17 blur effects could be here to stay. But how do Android Authority readers feel about it? Survey results are in!

My career is in backend development, but I did frontend stuff for quite a few years and, honestly, I wouldn't even know how to start if I was tasked with building a login form that doesn't work at all in Firefox, and stops working in Chrome when you use a password manager.

I am a fan of #chorded #keyboards. Alas the "improved" TAP wrist-based keyboard get hot fast and crapped out on battery time quite quickly, so I was glad to still have the wearable all-fingers-and-thumb version still.

I wish I knew how to program a keyboard to my own specs: #TAPkeyboard has a pretty decent chord system BUT users must be capable of hovering the hand prior to pressing on any horizontal flat surface, and I'd far prefer to be able to rest my fingers on keys until pressed.

Also: I LOVE typing in #Braille which is a two-handed chorded system BUT I only have access to a manual #brailler not a digital, which isn't helpful with digital devices no matter how lovely it is to use. 🙂

I don't think I've ever seen this in a game before but I'm totally stealing the item weight indicator from Abiotic Factor :O

See how some items have some stripes background behind them? It shows how weighty that stack is.

It's subtle, you will not understand what it is right away which isn't a big deal since you don't need it to play the game, I love it :)

The role of a user persona in UX and how to create it

A lot of articles and guides on how to create an effective UX design for a software product mention “sticking to a user persona” in order not to waste efforts and resources on a non-target audience. What is a user persona, how to define it, and how can it help the UX team in finding the best design solutions for a product?

Does anyone use #clojure ?

I'm trying to add a global static to an app. The references to it work, but the control to change it wont update it. Anyone know what I may be doing wrong?

This is for Ogres.
