@SleepyCatten It hasn't been updated in a while, I hope the author is OK.
I've started my own little blocklist focusing on AI buttons/widgets since: https://codeberg.org/alxndr42/no-ai-buttons
PS : si vous voulez virer le petit logo affreux de l' #IA d'#Infomaniak dans la colonne de gauche sur le webmail, vous pouvez rajouter cette ligne sur #uBlockOrigin :

If you watch Prime using a computer, Firefox + uBlock Origin extension block all ads on Prime. (So far... watched a film on Mercado Play the other day & their ads defeated uBO. Wonder when other sites will copy that tech.)

I'm surprised the article doesn't say more about how individuals can shelter from surveillance and targeted advertising. Here's my standard package of measures:
It's terrible that you have to be this careful and this technically knowledgeable to reduce the harms of targeted advertising. I agree with the article about the legal changes we need to make. But, since that's not going to happen in the foreseeable future, we should also talk about the things people can do to protect themselves right now. And, as technically knowledgeable people, we should offer practical help to our friends and loved ones to protect them directly.
gorhill had to exclude @pgl's list and uBlock Origin's badware list from uBlock Origin Lite Safari, as the way Safari counted the rules caused these lists to count has far more rules than they would in Chrome or Firefox.
Safari's odd counting inflated the number of rules in these lists to the point where they made it difficult to enable regional lists since enabling other lists would cause the number of filters to exceed the maximum allowed.

EasyList is planning to remove a large number of adservers at or around 6 AM European time Monday next week.
There have been concerns raised about if MV3 extensions can handle removing this many filters: https://github.com/w3c/webextensions/issues/319#issuecomment-4094568592
Both AdGuard and uBlock Origin have confirmed this should not be a problem for their extensions, as they bundle the rules with the extension rather than loading them dynamically.
The AdBlock Plus developers have requested EasyList remove the filters in chunks, due to concerns about issues.
