So happy to share a collaboration my team and I have been working on with Ficwallmapu and the Vancouver Latin American Cultural Centre to bring you an Indigenous Film Festival from Latin America in September 2023!

Folil trafün (Joining roots) is a showcase of Indigenous and Afro-diaspora films from Latin America (with English subtitles), followed by dialogues to deepen understanding of the films and their relationship with local realities.
Putting in a plug for our Haida Gwaii Summer Session in Plants, People, and Place.
4 block courses, 3rd year university credit, covering Socio-Ecological Change, Env. Assessment in Indigenous Contexts, Plant Ecology and Diversity & Indigenous Plant Knowledge.
This is an experiential learning program on Haida Gwaii. When you are in the classroom, it is in this amazing place (Haida Heritage Centre).
