Absolutely. I did about half of a screenwriting degree at #UArts before I transferred to #TempleUniversity for computer science.

I also have a heavy influence from the E-Prime writing style, which eliminates all forms of "to be" from the language.

The net result is that I tend to write in an extreme "show not tell" style. Most of what I write would work perfectly on screen.

I've read the relevant Middle States Commission public statements going back to November of last year, and also the letter sent out by #UArts.

So how long until we truly understand how this happened? Because right now there's a whole lot words that amount to nothing with regards to the abrupt timetable.

And somehow I really doubt these town hall meetings will answer much.

The way University of the Arts is handling and communicating about its abrupt closing is shocking. What a total sucker punch to its students, faculty, and staff. There must be more to the story, but who knows if anyone unaffiliated with that institution will ever get it.
