On 4 April, ISOC Hyderabad hosted UA Day 2026 at Microsoft Gachibowli — India's only Universal Acceptance event of the year, backed by ICANN. Speakers from government, industry, UNESCO, and academia made the case for multilingual Internet adoption, including a live demo creating domain names and email in Telugu script. 2026 was framed as the start of the "decade of action." 400+ registrations and 300+ attendees.
