Key example -- in addition to following #UABookBans and #ALALibrary, I have kept up with #HornBook and #SLJ and assorted of their blogs for well over a decade now, all via Twitter. Same with various #NewZealand and #USA authors, publishers, etc. Recreating that community in a centralized way is proving difficult.
