The aim of the Republican Party is to permanently uproot life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for 99.9999% of Americans, replacing it with a giant boot that destroys all joy and dreams with repeated stomps to the face.
The aim of the Democratic Party is to lick that boot with an eager and unctuous tongue feigning welfare for the common man, but ultimately waggling with capitulation accompanied by the trill of fresh dollars unfolded from a corrupt AIPAC envelope.

This shows MASSIVE, #bipartisan, money-overcoming support for a #BallotMeasure to remove money from politics, paving a clear path for similar ballot measures in other states in 2022.

In a better world we would get ranked choice voting. Unfortunately our reality right now may be that we just participated in our last election. Democracy it's self is in danger.
#JillStein and #CornelWest will be doing their disappearing act today, so that's two fewer billionaire-backed narcissists we have to hear from.
Really hoping we can capitalize on this to make the reforms necessary for actual #ThirdParty candidates to become viable and get rid of the #TwoParty system.
A "fun" part of every election season is getting to see #JillStein pop up like a groundhog, claim she's an "#activist" and that the #TwoParty system hasn't made her completely unviable, then disappear for another three and a half years well the rest of us put in the work to make #ThirdParty candidates viable.
And golly, the companies putting out pollution sure do pay her well.

After having conversations with quite a few Trump supporters, seeing a common theme that a lot of them really don't like #marginalized groups being allowed to vote, I'm noticing there has been a pretty strong uptick in messaging out of conservative / #authoritarian #propaganda sources like #HillsdaleCollege specifically talking about "the importance of the #ElectoralCollege." and to a lesser extent about preserving the #TwoParty system...
I think they are seeing the same thing I'm seeing: we are reaching a critical point of people being sick of the two-party system and all the other anti-#democracy systems in the #US government.
Once again, this election is a mandate on democracy itself, and I think we could get rid of the Electoral College in the next 4 years, and make a major dent in the two-party system by the end of the decade.
That alone is reason not to give up on democracy, and GO VOTE FOR KAMALA HARRIS.

You need to tag all the #GenocideJoe people on this, because yes, we've been through this before: "both candidates are the same", but they won't be for all the #gay, #transgender, #disabled, #black, #immigrant, #anarchist, #Ukrane, or #palestinian people who these people are talking about throwing under the bus over "principles".
No one has ever changed the election system with "#boycot the vote" campaigns, they've only allowed people who want to make it worse to take more power.
No, the Democrat candidate is not our first choice. I like her, and I think she'll do good, but she's not #Warren or #Sanders, though they're campaigning for her. Bigger picture though: we have made MASSIVE progress with the Democrat party since 2016, and we have a real shot at getting rid of the #TwoParty system in the next couple decades, maybe even the end of this one, but there's only one path to victory there, and it's not by letting the party that wants to get rid of the #democracy itself get reelected.
