Laurel Schwulst's concept of a "PBS of the Internet" row of phone apps is very cool. I don't have a browser on my phone as part of my own self-protective strategy to contain news to computers.

And that's sorta it on apps (well, #TwoDots, which is pretty addictive, and Marco Polo, but that's just for personal chat).
I think what I'm looking for is more of what's rewardingly messageboardy, and less of what Twitter has become: basically, just everybody's tedious troll subroutines on blast.
Update: I should not have played that before bed or without someone to talk to in the room. I keep remembering details I missed and thinking of ways to test combinations of actions to see if there is any difference at all to the experience. Means the game proved its own point and it’s 5am and I can’t sleep.
