Being a coder, on days like today, my thoughts are with Admins as they race to scale up to meet demand.

We all just expect everting to work, but in the background a monumental effort is underway to make sure our community stays stable and reasonably responsive. So shout out to all the Admins we salute you.

#twitterrefuge migration might not be a thing for Mastodon.
From what I observe, the new account creations and active account have dropped a lot, to almost one Tenth.

However, due to mass user creation, a lot of relies stopped working or approving new enablement requests.

This results Federated timeline way less active, less cross server interactions. Ultimately less "Open".

I really would want to subscribe to another server's public timeline feature be implemented soon.
