I was just thinking about the difference between liberal and conservative brains and how knowing those differences helps us.

The most important thing in preventing far-right extremism is to raise kids with a sense of security, without fear, no matter the circumstances.

Fear enlarges part of the amygdala, twists the mind, and makes people susceptible to exploitation. They are drawn to authoritarianism (NYU 11-11-20 article).
