Why?: Well the sound and picture quality is not good enough for a decent home cinema setup. The film was shot mostly on super 35 which gives a grainy picture, but at that bitrate the encoder can't render the grain very well, so the picture gets a fuzzy compressed look in many scenes that is not very pleasing. It needs either more DNR (yes really!) or a higher bitrate (best solution obviously).

The sound feels compressed in some scenes. In the scenes that, judging by the action on the screen, should have the loudest wind and storm sounds the volume turns down. You can hear the dialogue and the music but the storm is almost gone. Its like watching the movie with the subwoofer turned off. Scenes with more moderate storm noise sound just fine, so it seems deliberate.
Top Gun Maverick has a similar issue with the sound on appleTV but everybody says i sounds great on 4k blu-ray so hopefully it will be the same with twisters.
