DoomsdaysCWSo, there used to be a real-life #Willoughby here in #Maine... It was #Willowbrook -- a 19th Century Village! Unfortunately, it was dismantled a few years ago, and everything was scattered to various museums in Maine (it had a print shop, carriages, a blacksmith shop, a carousel, gazebos and more).
My late father-in-law lived the life of the stress puppy in #AStopAtWilloughby. And yeah, MIL wanted the good life. And he paid for it. He finally got to relax here in Maine when he was older.
I'll admit it... #Trains, #LivingSlow without #SmartPhones and #Surveillance... There's a lot for an autist like me to dig about living in #Willoughby!
Lol! I always think #AStopAtWilloughby is a stop at #Willowdale (a neighborhood in #ScarboroughME near the now-defunct railroad tracks).
And #TimeEnoughAtLast and #TheMidnightSun are my two favorite #TwilightZone episodes, @MirrorAyako , @startrek !
@MirrorAyako #TwilightZoneMarathon is my favorite way to spend NYE! It's brilliant to be able to interact and share with the @startrek while watching episodes!
@MirrorAyako I get that! And yeah, my NYE usually involves #TwilightZoneMarathon . I honestly don't remember the last time I was out for NYE. Maybe #FirstNight Boston in 1990?
Tee hee, @MirrorAyako . No, I haven't been watching #TwilightZoneMarathon 24/7, but I have stayed up until 2 or 3 am watching it in the past.
