So William had a habit. From kittenhood he nonchalantly snuck sips of lattè, off of the coffee table or by stealth on the couch.
Then I gave up coffee, by request of my stomach; and yet he still looks like he’s Jonesing.

Yesterday William was ambivalent about going too far outside, the neighbors are 1/4 of a mile south of us, but have a new Black Lab and a used Rottweiler — both good dogs, but they love to lope over and chase whatever is available.
So we got just one kitty pic. He loves the wooden walkway built over an ever-wet stretch of swamp by the Willows down nearer the river. Gets lovely and warm in the sun. He is, of course, purring.
