Er werden mooie woorden gesproken, een historische routekaart gepresenteerd, en een nieuw wetenschappelijk panel gelanceerd. De sfeer was hoopvol. Het momentum was er. Maar niet meer dan 20% van de fossiele producenten zat aan tafel. En het meest concrete resultaat? Landen worden aangemoedigd om nog eens na te denken over tijdlijnen voor uitfasering van fossiel. Iets wat milieuorganisaties al 25 jaar lang roepen. En nu staat de volgende conferentie gepland in Tuvalu.
