Spring turtle season has started! For about the last 12 years turtles, generally pond sliders have made their way up to lay eggs along the back pasture. They are some way from a shallow lake which is filling in.
The vast majority of the nests will be dug up and eaten - probably by the possum that I posted the picture of a couple of weeks ago
