noromamaiGoing to do the crystal mod to convert the PAL #turbografx from 50Hz to 60Hz. Will be replacing the 21.32825 MHz crystal at X201 with a 21.47727 MHz crystal. Made a video for reference. Using the 240p Test Suite lag test. In original state 10s on screen takes about 12s to run. #tg16 #turbografx16

Gave it a quick clean (Dasty) before putting everything back together again. No RGB mod needed as I will mod the CD dock for RGB. Then I remembered I should do the jailbar fix first! Turned it on and don't really notice jailbar, but weren't they more visible with RGB? #pcengine #turbografx16 #PCエンジン
Recapped the #turbografx16. On the PAL TG16 I destroyed a few pads. Most caps are connected on the top on one side. So it is better to heat the pad topside and remove it. Also make sure to suck out the solder on those ads before putting new ones. Will make it easier. #pcengine #PCエンジン
