The regeneration project would see this facade retained, but the whole Victorian interior removed.

There are attempts to get all this preserved. It's currently shops and The Snooker Club. It was a Victorian "social club" I've been inside and it has a stage still, and ornate coving etc. The Snooker Club would need new premises.

More sadness from my own town. These buildings were left empty a while ago, for a regeneration project. Which didn't happen. Money was spent to spruce up the outsides with wraps and street art. Now there is a new plan for regeneration which involves our town council taking out a massive loan, and demolishing this corner and more.
