Jonny EllI don't know what's more disturbing, the fact that someone thought what's missing from this beautiful riverside park is that it doesn't have its own app, or the fact that someone thought this was worth funding.
I have made it to Tumut for a sandwich in a very pleasant park next to the river. It took an hour longer than planned as my assumption that I could drive a 2WD car with city tyres over the unsealed Brindabella Road after heavy rain turned out to be hilariously naive. I got as far as the first bend after the bitumen ended before turning around, and was lucky to stay out of the ditch and make it back to safety.
The back road to Yass is quite an interesting drive though, where I discovered an amazing 1930 bridge over the Murrumbidgee.
