Natural basalt pyramid.
This is Búlandstindur (1069m / 3500ft) between Berufjörður and Hamarsfjörður in eastern #Iceland.
Basaltic strata like these have odd properties, they form hexagonal columns of an almost architectural neatness which are very strong vertically but layered horizontally so that slices flake off the tops. As the columns weather, structures such as this can form, resembling an Egyptian pyramid.
